In what would prove to be a warm-up for the Play-Offs a month later, Blackburn take an early lead through Simon Garner - the Town getting back on level terms through Jon Gittens just before half time. Rovers are quick off the mark after the break as well though - and Mark Atkins' goal two minutes in is enough to win the game.
