The first signing of the Sandro Di Michele - Scott Lindsey era at Town, former Plymouth academy striker Oscar Massey quickly became something of a forgotten man of Town. At just 18 years old, he was always one for the future but the form of Jacob Wakeling and the promise of academy youngster Abu Kanu seemed to push him well down the ranks, and the only first team appearance he made was as a substitute in the 76th minute of Town’s League Cup loss to Walsall. Even in the Papa John’s Trophy, Massey was only seen once as an unused substitute against Bristol Rovers.

Loan moves to Hungerford Town, Wantage Town, Plymouth Parkway and Tavistock followed over the course of the season, but he was released at the end of the season without making a further appearance.
