A full England international, the experienced winger was signed by Glenn Hoddle during the latter stages of the successful 1992/93 season. Marwood started his first six games, but was replaced by Micky Hazard for the amazing away trip to Birmingham City, which saw Swindon finish 6-4 winners after a fine comeback from being 4-1 down. Marwood never started for Swindon again but come off the bench on five separate occasions before his release at the end of that season.
