Possibly the most incredible match ever witnessed at the County Ground - with a goal advantage from the first leg, Swindon race into a 3-0 lead in the opening eighteen minutes of the second leg - but with some of their fans already leaving the stadium, the Blades net twice before half-time to bring them back into contention. Michael Smith extends the Town's lead again from the penalty spot, only for Steve Davies to pull it back again - but the game is surely put to bed by Jon Obika, who makes it 5-3 on the night, 7-4 on aggregate with just six minutes to go. Amazingly though, United net twice in the last two minutes to leave Swindon clinging on to a 5-5 draw that is just enough to send them to Wembley.
