Well-travelled centre forward who signed for the Town from Reading on February 28th, 1967 - making his debut the same day, where he scored in a 3-1 win over Grimsby.

At the time of signing, the Town were struggling in 20th place in Division Three. By the end of the season, Terry's goals had helped Swindon rocket up to finish just five points short of a promotion spot, after a run of just two defeats in eighteen games.

He also netted one of the quickest hat-tricks ever seen at Swindon, in a 4-0 win over Bournemouth - all three goals coming in the first ten minutes. By the end of his career, Terry had notched up 226 goals in 496 league games.
