Scott was signed in a desperate attempt to give Swindon some firepower up front, after Fjørtoft's failure to score in the first half of the Premiership season in 1993/1994. A big targetman, Scott didn't bring a lot of pace to the side, and he always looked knackered.

Scored the historic first winning goal for Town in the Premier - versus QPR.
