Hubbard was part of the Town U18 side that reached the quarter final of the FA Youth Cup in 2023/4, opening the scoring in the second round win over Wimborne Town and starting in four of the five games - he missed the win against Manchester United through injury. Hubbard also racked up four first team appearances across three first team competitions, including a league debut as an 89th minute substitute away at Colchester, introduced for George McEachran, and a cameo in the FA Cup omnishambles against Aldershot. Whilst Town lost all four games Hubbard was involved in, he could reasonably point to Swindon winning the FA Cup tie 2-0 during the period he was on the pitch - unfortunately he was introduced when Town were already 7-2 down.

It was a bit of a surprise that Hubbard was not amongst those offered a professional contract at the end of the season, with Jaxon Brown preferred as Town promoted only one young midfielder into the first team squad.
