WALESA Welsh youth international, Evans signed a one year deal in May 2008, after a torn knee cartlidge suffered the previous December threatened to scupper his chances of a professional contract. After a trial at Lincoln early in the campaign, Evans made two loan moves to non-League sides during the 2008/09 campaign to Truro and Weston-super-Mare, and he was released at the end of the season without ever making a first team appearance.
