One of many Town scholars to feature in Town’s Football League Trophy campaign of 23/24, Adams played the first half as one of three central defenders against Reading and the last minutes against Exeter the following month. He was part of a strong group of defenders in the academy, with Sonny Hart and Harley Hunt often the preferred partnership during Town’s FA Youth Cup run, and he was not offered a professional contract at the end of the season.
